I have dental insurance so the cost isn’t a major issue, although co-pays can add up by the end of the year for all the medical issues that I have been facing lately. But I just don’t like someone in my mouth and even thinking about needles and drills going on just creeps me out so very badly.

Maybe I need to tell my Mother about the issue, I know that she will nag me until I get off of it and call and the darn thing taken care of and done with it all. She is good at such things, gotta love her.

It breaks my heart to think of my Mom, and Ms. Jinx, getting so old. I know that the time is soon approaching when they won’t be available to talk to by picking up the telephone, or to just drive over to Mom’s house and see her and visit for a few hours, or to spend the night. Ms. Jinx is older than my mother, and I suspect that with her failing health that she might not be on this earth much longer. It breaks my heart to think of how forlorn my mother will be when she is gone, and I wonder how I will be able to console her.

I haven’t seen Ms. Jinx myself for several years, and I told Mom that I’d like to go with them. I think they thought I was joking, but I wasn’t. I just can’t get away during the time frame they are planning to go. I wish they’d wait a couple of weeks, but they are adamant about their time frame.

Luckily I have never had a drinking problem nor been around anyone with a drinking problem, other than 1 boss that was a single guy and very socially active on the DC bar scene. He drank about every night and would come into work hung over. I think just seeing his pitiful self every day was enough to keep me away from too much alcohol.

I know several people who have had the opportunity to travel at one of the most romantic and beautiful places in the world known as the Bahamas.  They always come back with a smile on their faces, good stories to tell and a ton of pictures to share with anyone that cares to show an interest.  One couple was so pleased with their trip that they are now seriously taking a look at buying some Bahamas real estate and relocating permanently down there. Now that is just too cool.

If they really move down there it would provide me with a great excuse to actually take the trip of my dreams.  I would have friends that I know down there that could hopefully provide me with a place to stay.  If not at least give me a good recommendation to decent lodging for the time being spent there.  It certainly would make me feel safer knowing someone in the area whether they have time or the need to spend time with me.

I’ve been on the phone for most of the day. So much so that the batteries are all toast on all the phones so while phones are charging I thought I would spend a bit of time online. I need a distraction from all the family drama for a bit. The last phone I made today before my cell phone died with my youngest brother who I haven’t seen in over 10 years and he only lives 4 hours away for goodness sake! After filling him in with all the information that I had gather and getting some feedback and some answers to the hundreds of questions that are being thrown out on the table, he informed me that his job was in possible jeopardy and that his was starting to prepare for a job search by getting his resume and references together and updated. He has some connections with a few Staffing Agencies that are willing and able to do what they can do in such a competitive employment market out there these past several years.

Whew! Now that I got all of that off my chest I think I’ll go on YouTube.com and find some funky music.

This particular video done by the Talking Heads brings back so many awesome memories from back in the 80′s. I just hooked up some really great speakers to my computer today and found myself listening to Burning Down The House and really getting myself in a good mood and wanted to play it forward! I hope you have a decent set of speakers for this one.

This funny video I found on YouTube is about a guy that supposedly spent many hours creating a machine that would open up an oreo cookie and remove the cream filling. Personally I like the cream part better than the cookie part, but to each his own! One interesting thing that I observed about this video is that when he decides to finally demonstrate it in action it appears that the oreo cookie he is using did not have any cream inside to begin with.
