Joann – I wish you had a Facebook page so you could share this experience on Facebook. The American consumers need to be more vigilant and start making a lot of noise! Have you been given the notification and papers to file for a refund from the class action lawsuit against Verizon? If you had Verizon for your home phone a few years ago, you might be eligible for a $40 settlement payment.

Thanks for the tip! I have a collection of gift cards that I’ve been saving “for a rainy day.” I guess I had better go use them and not risk having them expire or the business might go out of business or something. I don’t want to waste all that money!

My favorite ice cream is a Sonic drive in banana split. They use vanilla soft serve ice cream and all the traditional banana split toppings. Plus they bring it right to your car. Can’t beat that!

I grew up in Virginia, and lived in Maine for twenty nine years. I recently moved back down to Virginia, and I am finding myself spending more time inside than I used to. I seem to be very heat intolerant, so I am very grateful for air conditioning! I do believe that the summers are hotter now than they used to be, based on what the weathermen claim when they talk about record temperatures.
