My flip flop collection is dwindling. I had 6 pair of them at the start of summer and I’ve had three pair blow out on me. I guess they just don’t make them like they used to. Hopefully, they will be going on clearance soon and I can re stock my flip flop wardrobe again.

Thursday, March 11th, 2010The winter months are hard on my hands and my feet. Thankfully, I don’t ever wear shoes in the winter that show my toes. So I don’t bother with a pedicure unless I am going out to a party or for a special occasion. But now that the weather is getting warmer, I need to spend a couple hours with my manicurist and get back on track. Maybe I can do that on Saturday.

There are very few artists or musicians who have an entire catalogue of stuff that I like. Willie Nelson has never sang a bad song. I’ve been a fan since the 1970′s and hope to have a complete collection of his songs by the end of this year.
A Good Book

I think I will go to a bookstore this weekend and take a look around. I miss the total escape into a good story.
New Cushion
Tuesday, June 2nd, 2009The outdoor swing that I bought last year has a cushion that is not only incredibly dirty from being outside in the weather and elements all year, but now it has little specks of mildew all over it. It is too big to fit into my washing machine and the cover does not come off – there is no zipper anywhere. So I guess I am supposed to just toss it out and replace it. Except I cannot find any replacement cushions anywhere for a three person swing. At this point I don’t even care what color or pattern is on the fabric. I just need a cushion that fit my swing so I can sit on it and watch the cars drive by.
