Wednesday, July 21st, 2010Came across some interesting photos today of professional sand castle artists. Apparently they have big contests all over the world for these people to compete. The really elaborate carvings are very impressive. If I can remember where I saw them I will post a few links for everyone to go see.
Bonnaroo Weekend

This weekend is the big festival in Manchester called Bonnaroo. It’s a southern, modern version of Woodstock each year. Lots of music and crazy, sweaty people milling about on a big farm. Fun!
Blind Side
Saturday, May 22nd, 2010Rented “The Blind Side” last week and liked it so much that I decided to go buy that movie. Found it at Wal Mart for $19.
It was better than I expected from the little bit of commercials that I saw about it, and I don’t understand why it didn’t win more awards. It was a better movie than the Avatar that everyone was raving about.
