Well, Roo has done it again. Last night, after going to play Bingo, and actually winning something, I came home and let Roo out of her crate to play for awhile. Being as I was tired from a long day, I brought several of her toys into the bedroom with us and placed them on the bed to occupy her so that I could go to sleep. I figured she would play for awhile, tire out and go to sleep also.
Boy was I wrong!! I finally fell asleep about 11:00 p.m. I could feel her wrestling around beside me and did not think anything of it, believing she was playing with one of her toys. I woke up fully about midnight to find my bed filled with memory foam and black rubber. I then found what was left of my slipper lying on the floor beside the bed.
Needless to say, I was not happy at all. Roo got placed in her crate, after a stern scolding, and I proceeded to spend the next half an hour cleaning up the mess in my bed and on the floor. I then got back into bed and went back to sleep until 4:30 a.m., when Roo woke me up to go outside for her scheduled morning outing. She seems to wake up every morning at 4:30 to go out, no matter what time she goes to bed. I then got back into bed, set my alarm for 6:00 a.m., because I really needed that extra hour of sleep and I went to work a little blurry-eyed this morning.
