A true American icon, Andy Griffith, is gone. I remember watching the Andy Griffith show when I was a kid and loving every minute of it. There was always a lesson to be learned too, whether it involved Barney, Opie, Aunt Bea, or any of the many characters on the show. It was always a pleasant show, with a happy outcome; too bad real life isn’t as easy.

I never was one to watch Matlock much, but the few times I did watch, it was also a good show. I never have seen the movie “A Face In The Crowd”, but I will make it a point to see it.

It seems that we have lost quite a few celebrities lately. Dick Clark, Andy Griffith, and I can’t believe it has been three years since we lost MJ and Farrah. I am starting to feel quite old.
