Caylee Anthony

What do you think of the verdict in the Casey Anthony trial?  I was totally shocked by the outcome as I believe millions of other Americans were.  There were so many inconsistencies in the defense and the testimony of all the witnesses.

I can’t fathom the reasoning behind the alleged cover up of the so-called accidental drowning.  Why would anyone, especially an ex police officer (Casey’s father) try to cover up an accident? It makes no sense at all.

And why on earth would any mother go out an party while her daughter is supposedly missing, if she did not know exactly what had happened to her?  I know I would be at home frantic and doing all I could to find  my little girl., not out drinking and having a good time.

They showed video of Casey and Caylee playing together and seemingly happy.  The witnesses painted a picture of  her as a good mother, but I don’t see it.   And then the allegations about Casey’s father were shocking to say the least.  I did notice that when the verdict was read, Casey’s mother and father did not come to her side to congratulate her or celebrate with her, but got up and walked out of the court room without saying a word to anyone.  I found that disturbing.

I hope that someone, somewhere, some time, finds additional evidence that will prove to the world what really happened to that little girl and if her mother did have something to do with it, at least the world will know for sure, even though she cannot be charged with the same crime again.  Until then, let the child rest in peace.

This trial was fascinating in a very sick and disturbing way. I was amazed at how totally dysfunctional the entire family seems to be. A bunch of liars and sociopaths that lived together and somehow caused the death of a beautiful little girl. I doubt we will ever know the truth, but I am totally convinced that the mother had something to do with the death and disposal of the body and I think it is a travesty that she was not convicted of anything other than lying.

The prosecutors totally failed that baby and the good citizens of Florida by charging her with the wrong crimes and failing to prove their case. At least she was locked up for all that time up until the trial. I can’t believe that she is Scott free – it sickens me.
